OTC is a protocol for minting desks. A desk is an NFT that owns a vault. The vault fills with tokenised stock over time, and whoever holds the NFT owns whatever is in it.
The mint
Minting burns 50 000 OTC and charges a surcharge worth five dollars in ETH. Nine tenths of that surcharge goes to the pot; the remaining tenth is the only direct protocol revenue there is.
The burn happens inside the same transaction, before the NFT exists. There is no version of this where somebody gets a desk without the supply going down.
Supply is capped at 999 desks. Every desk is generated from a fixed seed, so the whole collection is known in advance and reproducible by anyone running the generator.
Activation
A freshly minted desk earns nothing. Activating it snapshots the distribution counter for each asset in the rotation, which is what makes the desk eligible for every round that follows. Rounds before activation are not backdated.
Rounds
The moment the pot clears its threshold it is spent — all of it — on whichever asset is next in the rotation. What it bought is split equally across every live desk: one desk gets one share, whether it was activated a year ago or a block ago.
A round is a single transaction. Instead of writing into thousands of accounts, it advances a per-asset accumulator, and each holder pulls their own balance whenever they like. An unclaimed book stays with the token, so a desk bought on the secondary market arrives with everything it never claimed.

Risk
Desks are collectibles that hold whatever the rotation bought. Their value is the value of that book, which moves with the underlying and can fall to nothing. Nothing here is advice, and there is no promise that any round ever settles.
